Monona County Veterans Affairs Office

The Monona County Veterans Affairs Office offers assistance for a wide range of benefits to our veterans, service members and their families. This includes Federal and State benefits, as well as temporary county benefits to qualifying indigent veterans and their families. County assistance benefits for qualified applicants include rent, utilities, food, clothing, and burial expenses. |
Eligibility for county benefits:
- The individual must be a legal resident of Monona County and maintained residency for one (1) year
- Have been discharged from the US Armed Forces under "Honorable Conditions"
- Served during a "War Time Period"
- Must meet Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG)
